Congregation B'nai Jeshurun (The South Street Temple) is a Reform Jewish congregation founded in 1884. The mission of our Temple is to provide a liberal Jewish presence in our community and to facilitate the Jewish spiritual growth of our members. The congregation is affiliated with the Union for Reform Judaism and serves 115 families.

We welcome all who seek knowledge about, or a relationship with, the Jewish faith and people. We conduct worship services, Jewish celebrations, and life cycle events, as well as adult education, youth religious education, and social action. Our congregation is dedicated to being a center of social activism, in accordance with the ancient Jewish tenet of "Tikkun Olam" - the improvement of the world - and to fostering positive Jewish images in the general community.

Interfaith families and people of all faiths are welcome at any time.
